Vintage bike in Acrylic

We meet on 23rd February for a Monday Live full of charm on the theme Vintage bike in Acrylic.

It’s a theme that seems quite simple but which is ultimately interesting to paint due to the bright light, shadows and different textures (bricks, plaster, wicker) as well as colors in beige, brown shades and others more sparkling. but finally very interesting to paint

On program :

Build the drawing: proportions of the bike, outlines, placement of the wheels and handlebars, understand the light: identify the illuminated areas, the sharp shadows and the shapes projected on the wall, paint the materials: metal frame, leather saddle, wicker basket, plaster and bricks, work on contrasts: make the bike stand out on the light wall, while keeping a soft harmony and add touches of color: fruits and vegetables.

Acrylic techniques:

• flat sheets and first masses to quickly lay the stage

• overlays to build volumes and textures

• fine brush details (rays, reflections, small light breaks)

A live Monday that will teach you how to paint an accessible, but very varied subject.
