Ondine de Peretti
Ondine is a French watercolourist who lives and works in the Paris region. Her style is minimalist, using just a few brushstrokes and a limited palette to plunge us into spellbinding landscapes that make you want to spend your days looking at the horizon. Through the fleeting moments she depicts, she gives the impression of time. All the more reason to open up our horizons to a new style of watercolor.
The French artist began watercolor painting in 2020 during the lockdown period, and it was a real revelation for her. Since then, she hasn't stopped.
What does she love about watercolor? The fusions and surprises it reveals, because the water does what it wants on the paper, and each watercolor is unique. Ondine is inspired by simple landscapes: sea, mountains, countryside, and incorporates botanical elements.
