Esther Gili, Spain
Esther Gili studied illustration at the Art School nº10 from Madrid. For a decade she worked illustrating textbooks and collaborated regularly with USER T38 doing work for cinema and advertising.
In 2015 it was published Encantadas, her first illustrated album, written by David Aceituno. A few months later she published 39 semanas y mis experiencias como madre novata, an autobiographical work in the key of humor. Among her most outstanding works are: El legado de Catherine Elliot and Llamadlas brujas, written by Gemma Camblor; the youth saga Los Quebrantasueños, written by Susanna Isern; El lenguaje de las olas, written by Magela Ronda; and Azul, el arte de Esther Gili, her most personal book, where she compiles a large part of his work.
We can find her illustrations in notebooks, tote bags and agendas produced by Cuquiland. It also has a collection of puzzles with Educa Borras.
Her favorite technique is watercolor, which is why she uses it whenever she can. She usually draws women with character, magic and kindness.
