Monday Live on Monday, March 2 will be dedicated to a daily but very elegant subject: a cup of coffee with oil paint on a canvas. 

It is an ideal still life to learn how to paint a realistic rendering with oil: the shine of coffee, the decorated white porcelain and the textures of the grains. 

On the program:

Setting the proportions of the cup, placement of the grains, build the great values: shadows, lights, contrast of black coffee in porcelain, making porcelain: smooth transitions, reflections, and blue decor, painting coffee beans: textures, accents of light.

Oil painting technique:

Oil painting will allow us to work with beautiful blends and gradients, for a more realistic result.

The objective of this live is to learn how to create a very realistic work by working with light, different materials and details.
